Izdajo stripa je omogočila Striparna oblaček. Polovica stripa je v slovenščini, polovica v angleščini.

Ljudske pripovedke, ki so se prenašale iz roda v rod, pripovedujejo, da je bil Peter Klepec siromašen, šibak in slaboten kmečki fantič. Zaradi njegove šibkosti je bil tarča ostalih pastirjev, ki so mu nenehno nagajali in zaradi tega si je želel postati močan.

Nekega dne mu je gorska vila uresničila željo in mu je podarila nadnaravno moč. Vendar se Peter s svojo silno močjo ni maščeval porednim pastirjem, temveč je z njo pomagal ljudem. Najprej je iz dežele pregnal Turke, ki so plenili, ubijali in požigali, nato pa je iz kamnite gmajne naredil njive in iz dežele pregnal še lakoto.

Folk tales passed down from generation to generation tell that Peter Klepec was a poor, weak and frail peasant boy. Because of his frailty, he was the target of other shepherds who relentlessly harassed him and because of this he wanted to become strong.

One day, a mountain fairy made his wish come true and gave him supernatural strength. However, Peter, with his mighty power, did not take revenge on the
naughty shepherds, but helped people with it. He first expelled the Turks from
the land, who plundered, killed and burned, and then he turned fell grounds
into fields and drove the famine out of the land as well.
